From Vision to Creation

I’ve always been drawn to making things with my hands, from tinkering and building as a kid to working with sculpture and design today. That curiosity for creating has stuck with me and grown into a lifelong pursuit of art in many forms.

I now work at Brodin Studios, where I help sell, design and create custom bronze memorials, while also pursuing my own art on the side. My approach is versatile, hands-on, and rooted in finding creative ways to turn ideas into something people can connect with.

EHLINGER ART & DESIGN

My path into art really began with a welder and a pile of scrap metal. What started as experimenting with leftover pieces quickly grew into my first major project — a welded scrap metal table. That piece ended up taking first place in the sculpture category at my regional high school art competition, and it gave me the chance to show my work on the state level. More than the award itself, it was the realization that I could take something imagined in my head and transform it into a physical form that others could connect with. That moment lit the fire for me, and it’s been fueling my creative journey ever since.
